Our optional antenna feature a SMA male connector so they will work on all of our receives except the Handheld, Directional, and 5" LCD receivers which have fixed or internal antennas and can not be removed.

 The 8 dbi antenna increases range and offers the best stability of the picture in part by narrowing the field of view which blocks out possible signals in the same frequency from other directions.  It has a 75 degree horizontal and 65 degree vertical angle. The new 8 dbi antenna shown can be adjusted from facing horizontal to vertical. It also includes a base for easy placement.  This antenna performs the best for aircraft applications and we recommend facing the antenna straight up while remaining on the ground. No need to point directly at the transmitter in most cases.
